Biking at the Causeway
The Causeway is well known for being the one stop place for jogging, biking, long boarding and many other sports and athletic activities. Let’s start off by saying that you don’t need to bring your own bicycle. Y. You can rent one at a reasonable price at one of the rental shops. There’s a catch though, you only get thirty minutes to use the bicycle, another thirty minutes would mean another $5. You might end up spending fifteen dollars in one single day, no questions asked. If you have access to a free bike, bring your own.

You might find yourself pedaling up and down the strip for at least one hour. A variety of refreshing natural drinks can be found at almost any point of the causeway and most of them are delicious. If you need to rest, try sitting on one of the many benches scattered across the causeway. The view is beautiful at sunset, golden light covering the vast ocean.
If you brought along the family, you can rent a family bike which requires almost everybody to pedal. Sounds like fun, but some of these bikes really need to get oiled. The pedals are very loose and hills can turn into a nightmare. So if you’re planning on renting one of those family bikes, wear something comfortable, you’re going to sweat a lot. Panama has so many places you can bike, but the causeway is a place you need to try out before leaving.
